    LOL, kinda what I was thinking as well. He did say it weighed 2400Lbs and had some traction issues...maybe it was a stock 8:1 smog motor, who knows. Hard telling how the rear suspension was built as well. We have guys in the 12's now with BPts and FWD, so I would think 11's could be achieved with a fairly mild motor if the car is set up right.

        Nobody saw that 16' boat with a 460 on it? That's nuts my friend had a 16' with a 454 with a 200 shot, it looked so retardedly sick !

            with a stick car & an adjustable clutch you can slip the clutch. Then bring it back in at a higher rpm
            No more traction issues. The hard part is setting the clutch just right for every 1/4 pass

              I'm super excited to see this. Also, every time a boat is brought up with an old v8 in it. I always gotta post these... Haha this is my uncle's 15ft fiberglass boat with a supercharged 454 in it.



              Oh here's his corvette that used to be a supercharged 454, he took supercharger parts off of it for the boat lol

                    A friend of mine has a 2.3 turbo in his garage with 50k miles on it, he says $300 for it if your interested

                        He told me but I can't remember off hand, if I remember right he said it was a factory non-intercooled engine, like from a merkur, if you want I can get you his email address and you can talk to him directly

                                The 2.3 SVO or merkur engines have been known to make 500hp on stock blocks before. I wish they were easy engine swaps for festivas.
