  • NTRCOOL's build/ repair thread

Hi guys I know I have an intro set up but this one is to be a list of repairs my GL needs still and any modifications that I am planning.
Repairs: all four struts + mounts
    Rear axle bushings
    Replum rear brakes
    Hatch latch
    front seatbelts
Weld small crack in unibody rail front passenger side
    Inner + putter tierods
    Various sensors on the engine
    speedo cable
    Idle issue
    MODS:
    KYB sport struts
    35mm lowering springs
    Short throw shifter
header new exhaust to go with it
    tint windows
New speakers( nothing too fancy just ones that don't crackle when you try to listen to the radio)
New stereo(have to get new harness for it)
As I get my budget under control ill stoke out the things on my list. Its been a fun car so far even with my recent headgasket issue. I guess festiva motorsports is going to love me this next year.

Good news... the inner n putter tierods are replaced. Next on the list is the lateral arms, then alignment. Also installed my new coolant temp sensor, but the plug end that goes int to the sensor broke off the end of the wire.

I think it would look good if you had the 1988-1989 festiva grill.

Okay guys the money is coming very soon. I have a gas tank Ill be buying off Ebay but I figured why not replace the sending unit and the pump. Problem is I haven't found one on AZ's site or Ebay. Any suggestions would help I still need to hit up the other parts store as soon as I turn my phone back on.

rock auto has a good deal on gas tanks ...100.00 less then auto zones (coming from an auto zone Parts sales manager) ... festiva motor sports ship their parts from ebay quick.. buy getting ahold of roger is one thing and as it seems getting your parts in one piece or at all is another .... so glad i got my body kit before he turned to the dark side
