Good work on the wide body. That wing is out of control. lol

Looking good. Needs a bunch of fan boy stickers to go with the body kit and wing. Are you guys gonna be racing in chicagoland again this year?

I love the fenders. That material looks way thicker than anything on the car. Have you drastically lowered the car as well?

Material is 22ga steel, what seems thick is the conduit pipe which is the skeleton. Look at the other picture you will see this skeleton pipe without the sheet metal in the back.
The front looks so low because the rear is on the jack stands and the front is not. Sometimes this baby will go off track, so we cannot afford to be too low

We would not be capable to make all this ourselves - the body work is done by a fellow Lemons racer who enjoys doing fab work. His other projects are Opel GT "breadvan" - http://blog.caranddriver.com/lemons-...-and-juggalos/ and Alfa F40 http://murileemartin.com/wordpress/?p=220 - look at top pictures on both links

Absolutely loving the shogun-esque flare! The giant spoiler is also starting to grow on me! Great job!

I like the new color. It needs a really big diffuser, though. MOAR downforce!

Very cool! The headlights need to have a better transition...but I realize it's just a LeMons Car!

I know But for a five week project, not so bad, right?

By the way, this thing will be on TV in the GT Academy show.

We have finished the true 24 hours race yesterday!

Only two issues - both related to wheels: right in the beginning of the race a bolt from the engine bay has fallen off and bounced into between the brake caliper and a wheel. Wheel got locket, tire got destroyed. Flatbed ride. Two hours before the end - this case I am not sure on the details, but something like we got a flat wheel and after trying to limp into the pits the inner wall of the wheel was completely gone, the car could not move. Another flatbed ride for us - but that was a chance to attract some attention and we got Organizer's Choice award!

Great job! What class were you in? I thought I saw your car when I was there Saturday night. My buddies were doing their first ever lemons race in the mr2 with pink flames on the front. Blew the engine on the Friday before the race and were up till 4am replacing it lol. Takes devotion!
