  • I understand the good parts of Facebook, as you mentioned keeping in touch with family and car groups. I guess me moving halfway across country only to find a bunch of people I knew 30 years ago but didn't hang out with or have anything in common now want to be my long lost friend. Having friends is a good thing but just because you were able to track me down on Facebook doesn't qualify someone as a friend. I like being low key and those that are important to me have my number. sorry if I am getting off track. It does seem to me Facebook was originally considered social media. People finding old friends and generally communicating with each other. Now it has become full of businesses advertising their wares. It seems to me they could be invited to the forum. Perhaps a section devoted to new parts and related services. I recently tried to close my Facebook account and found out it takes 14 days for them to remove you from their site. If I was to sign in to read about KAinjection it automatically renews my account. That sucks. When I did a Duck Duck Go (that's the search engine I use. They don't track you BTW) The two links that came up were tempting. The first one said something about the worlds fastest Mazda B engine powered car was running 8 something in the quarter mile, made 700+ horsepower and used KAinjection rods. If I remember they mentioned the rods are $211? without rod bolts. I presume that is the price per rod not for a set of four. I guess I will never know without signing in to Facebook and reactivating my account.......never mind :gritteeth:

            • I’ll be getting it off the ground with a G series. I know it’s going to be pissed once I turn up the wick, I’ve been asking a lot of e153 questions lately.

                  • Different flywheels but same bell bolt pattern. Use original trans plate.

                    • Sorry for the lack of updates.

I have some stuff to post, but it's just pictures of an AEM 340LPH fuel pump (E85 compatible), 8AN fuel line, and an Aeromotive 13101 fuel pressure regulator. I had to send my TiAl blowoff valve back because they sent black instead of blue. Still collecting parts.

We will be drilling out the sending unit to install the pump with lines, and retaining the stock rail.

Still holding out for finding a MegaSquirt 3 someone wants to sell cheaper than new.

                      Stay tuned.

                      • My God - if you had a YOUTUBE Channel of this it would blow "MIGHTY CAR MODS" totally off the planet, and ROADKILL wouldn't even be in the running

                        IS there a YT channel?

                        * Right now MCM is building a 240-Z, with an RB-??? engine. I-6 DOHC, 4V and an aftermarket turbo

If I really imagine a totally beyond the edge Festiva? It would be a complete AUDI QUATTRO rob out and install. But you'd have to be a race car manufacturer because the only thing still Festiva at all would be the body shell...

Most people don't drive what they want at all, and never will

                          I think 400whp in a 1,900lb car will work.

                          • Got the spare head to the machine shop earlier. Dropped off the bare head, valves, springs, retainers, and keepers for the rebuild. It’ll need guides and a valve job. Next up is putting my bare block on an engine stand and starting to put it together.
