Absolutely. You've probably seen some of my posts and questions on the FB group (Don Jennings), I have a pile of parts en route.

Send me a PM on Facebook then if you get a chance, I can send you a link with the basic concept of thread recovery.

              • OK, so I'm using IMGUR and Will is going to assist me with converting Photobucket stuff later on. I figured I'd post the car, since it's on 4 wheels (and nice ones at that) and rolls around somewhat.

I wouldn't call it a vacation... logistics issues is a better term, in addition to marriage and a 15 month old daughter. I'm in a position now to dust off the Festy and finish it up. It'll be different than the original plan, that's for sure.

                            • I looked up KAinjection, connecting rods and the only information I could find on them involves going on Facebook. I closed my Facebook account. I don't have time for all the bs. and lies, not to mention getting friend requests from people I don't know nor never will. I don't understand why the car forums have lost members to Facebook. Nice looking rods though.

I'm not the biggest fan of FB either, I use it for my family to send photos of my daughter and a few car groups.

However, there's several businesses that I've connected with on FB related to Festivas (KAinjection and BP Specialties being a couple of them) and FB proved to be a valuable resource: without it, I wouldn't have a lot of the custom/one-off particular build type things you see above.
