Yes sometimes - It will worker as a flasher or a high beam or sometimes as a regular light. - Some weird electrical issue.

          Wires

Yesterday I got new spark plugs and spark plug wires.

I will need a new alternator soon once I start driving around and I was wondering if I should get mine rebuilt or get a refurbished one from some place like NAPA or Pepboys?

a local rebuilder will typicaly give you a better end product with better internals than a McAuto parts unit.

Even if the auto store says they are using "high Quality" parts?

                It LIVES again sort of...

I put in new plugs - the right firing order would have help!
I drove it but it has a bad overheating issue (half and half is used) and I was in a small accident - nothing major - there is a short video of it on youtube.
There is also a video if it alive and also the overheating issue.

I can't hear anything over the dogs but I don't think
your fan was running while you were pointing at the jug and saying
                  "overheating issue"?

If that is a solid lifter engine in the first flic it sounds like it
                  needs a valve adjustment.

Bummer on the high pressure scrapage, I would be seeing
a body and paint shop to make that look normal.

                    Local is what local is..
Rebuilt at chain store is reman in china or mexico
                    on an assembly line.

Local guy knows what failed on the parts he puts back in.
A rebuilder in chinxico has no idea what failed on anything
he puts back in, if it looks good in it goes and you get a
lifetime warranty and for "premium" brand they throw in
                    free roadside service!!

After you experience this "premium backside service" you
usually prefer local auto electric and rebuilding shops.

                      Partially Gutted Interior

                      My partially gutted interior.
An update of what I did today - I had no school so I went out and got some stuff done... I gutted the interior as shown in the photos on the link below. I also removed the bad taillight - going to pull a part soon to get another one.
I came up with an idea - since i want a custom back interior I was thinking of building it where instead of using that plastic stuff I put wood there instead.
                      Tell me what y'all think.
also I got the latch sort of to work.

I took off the fender and succesfully got the drivers door to shut without lifting it! well it does need to pushed with alot of effort.
