  • Update............................................ ...

Well a lot has happened in the last 2 days. Big THANKS to Mike (Flyin4stroke) for all his help (15 hrs in 1 day).

Started with a beater.....Some might remember my surf car I bought. I wanted to put a bigger motor in it.

    Pulled the dirty motor..................

    Cleaned the engine bay...

Pulled the intake apart for paint, also painted the block, oil pan, valve cover, water inlet, thermostat housing, everything possible. Also modded the fuel rail for an FMU to get installed. And re routed the injector harness under the fuel rail.

    Then painted the trans ..............

And installed a spec stage 2 clutch.............

And it's ready to go back in..................Here is 2 pics about 18 hrs apart...

And after the motor was dropped in.....

More work to come. I still have a few cars to finish before FM6.

This one should be finished soon.

Oh and found this in the front bumper.....Glad it wasn't active.

When it gets cold up there, take a vacation. You be surprized what can happen around here in 1 week.

            • Do you have like a rates chart? BP Swap cost so much? B6T swap cost so much? Rebuild engine etc!

Florida does sound nice...and maybe something I could talk my GF into!

                            • He uses flat aluminum rustoleum, why you ask?! Cause it's 2000 degree heat resistant. Not ^ 500. I have learned this lesson the hard way. Never try to get between Greg and his 2000 degree engine paint.
