Just welded in a large patch on the passenger side quarter panel above the wheel well. It will blend nicely with some body filler. I'll get a pic in a minute.
Outside-
Inside- (crappy, but you can see the outline of the weld path and get an idea of overlap.)

Here's a tutorial I made in which you can see my latest floor pan patch. I've done 2 more patches since. I also coated the seams of the patches in JB weld to make them water-tight. More work tomorrow.1990 White L-Plus 5-speed rust-machine

Thats a good idea. I was thinking about going under the car and putting butyl in the cracks before riveting the metal together for even more support. All I want is a weatherproof solution thats made of metal, and this was what I decided on.1990 White L-Plus 5-speed rust-machine
