Wow all those nice new parts...I wish I was close enough to come help you install it all! I've used National bearings a couple times and they do fine. People claim they are not as good but they roll just as good as timkens.

Where do you keep ordering parts from? Rockauto would probably save you a little cash on most of this. The rears don't really have top hats, the springs rest against the body perch and theres just a washer under a bushing on the strut rod that pokes thru the body goes through another bushing and washer with a nut on top.

FestYboy- What I think Im going to do is have only one actually on while I drive and then the other 2 for when I park and open the hatch and chill and listen to my music with friends

zoom zoom- I wish you could help install it all too!! Ive gotten alot of my parts from Advanced Auto back home which has been good to me and haven't had any problems with, I have also gotten some parts off EBay though, and then a few other random sites similar to and including SouthWest auto that AdvanceDynamics uses

Here are some pictures after working on it a little bit this weekend. Ran into some kinks that we didnt expect so we were not able to finish but hopefully next weekend we will be able to.

Did some work today on it, did some random stuff interior wise but we messed up the rear window motor trying to do the escort wiper mod (probably just going to get a different hatch without the wiper now lol). Then we started working on the suspension and brakes up front because we don't got bumpstops for the rear but couldn't get the old inner tie rod ends to unbolt so we tried cuttin them out with a torch but that didn't end too well so we just stopped there for the day. Now tomorrow we gotta weld up something for the new one on the drivers side though.

What we did accomplish thigh was removing the old strut assembly's and front brakes, assembled the new VW shocks and springs with the strut mounts, removed the rear plastic pieces, removed the rear seat and belts, insulated the door speakers from the frame (hopefully they will not short out anymore), mounted and balanced my tires, installed my NKG spark plug wires and sparkplugs.

Also we got some 1/4" wheel spacers for up front to clear the shocks.

I don't know how to post pictures from my phone and dont have access to internet for now I'll post some when I can though.

                        Updates for today...

Went to the yard today in search of an auto aspire front sway bar but had no luck finding one so I'm just going to continue using the old one for now.

Replaced everything else up front though, but I don't bolt to attach the rotor on to the spindles. Also can't get the new sway bar to LCA bushings to attach properly.

Tomorrow I hope to get it all together and freeze up the joints and bleed the brakes out and finally take her out for a long awaited drive!!

Just came back from the garage again a little bit ago and was able to get the swaybar done!

Tomorrow I just gotta greese it all up, bleed the brakes, adjust the suspension and get my alignment done!

Ugh!!! Battery didn't really need to be charged but oh well just topped it off. The real problem ended up being that the PO added some extra wire on to the cables and those connections broke free so I just cut them out and erred new cone tore on the ends and sure enough she started right up first try!

Drive it around a little bit and man is she stiff! Going to drive it as is for now but new springs are on the shopping list lol

Tomorrow I'm going to get it aligned and have some fun! Going to stop at another yard to look for another aspire sway bar.

Got it aligned yesterday, and after driving it around for a little bit and letting the suspension set it the tires started rubbing on the fenders so when I got a chance I did a hasty job at rolling them out, it worked pretty good and doesn't look bad at all for a 5 minute attempt but I'm about to go out and roll them a little more.
