Well my transmission bearings is making a noise now so it is time to do that swap. going this weekend to get a transmission at PnP. any helpful hints on tools and easy way to dismount the transmission. and remove it.

I need to remove mine too...tranny is fine, but the clutch is going. Got an Exedy off of a member. Just need the time to install it.

today i was in first gear and when i pressed the clutch i heard the grinding noise. well atleast with the new transmission i will have a speedometer again.

Did you bust your speedo gear inside the tranny? That sucks. My tranny seems fine...but after 220k miles the clutch is going out!

Yea that is where it broke and it did suck for a week that all I could think about and now the grinding noise watch when I take it off it will be held together with gum. Lol

Pulling the transmission only 81000 miles on it and the bearings and all are good.

Cool! I snagged one of those from a yard too. And a cable later from the same car. Got a working speedo now.
