Picked up a BP motor after searching for a good 2 months. Has less than 3k miles on it. Came with all the parts attached including the tranny, then he gave me the front axle, hubs, and shocks. I've been looking at the swap thread and I think I still need to pick up a performance clutch, do an aspire brake and tranny swap, as well as find an ECU for the beast before it goes in. I have some pictures and such to post from the recent rallys. Haven't had the time to post them with school going on. I'll see if I can get them up in the photos and videos thread tomorrow.

If its a g-series trans u got with the engine then use it, u dont wanna have an aspire trans behind that bp bc it will NOT handle the abuse. Spiders will let loose and go through the case (had it happen 3 timed behind my b6-me) the g series is a more difficult swap but worth the effort. The f-series requires no cutting or bashing with the bp at all, just new mounts. I did a bp/f swap in my moms festy and its a breeze an

Re: Car #789
WTFestiva, do you have the Aspire swap? If not, I HIGHLY suggest it. It will help your car counter the BP's power with sports-car-like braking ability, and only takes an afternoon to accomplish. Good luck in your racing, and let's see more pics of the Flying Festiva! In love with a MadScientist!:thumbright:
There's a fine line between breathtaking ingenuity and "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!"
