Great work mate. Excellent Quality build and just so impressed with the look overall.

just curious, what was the approximate time to do the complete swap and did you have any real hassles with any part of the build at all?

another thing was, where did you get the trailer hitch and how does it tow comparing the two engines or was it only towing with the new engine?

^ just a simple as a BP swap, Just Tighter with the A/C and PS. only hold ups were waiting on Parts, and searching parts stores for little things. lol.
Hitch was made from a John Deere Gator factory hitch. Got pix of it in my other thread. (build thread for the blue monster)

Towing was a BREEZE!!!!!! never towed with a B3 though....

I had a Maverick Grabber and it had Air shocks on it, so I looked online and found some that were same mounting style as festiva.
I doubt there are any for the front of a festiva.. I paid $63 for both at autozone.

As for the rio axle, Im not sure. As far as I know, they are both festiva axles.
I dont have any problems with wheel hop, vibs, shakes or anything. 4000 trouble free miles so far!

oh, are you running the stock trans?

thanks for the info on the air shocks ill put it on my wishlist need a slight bit more dampning (however you spell it)

maybe a set could be modded up with some welded plates for the hub connections, maybe

^stock trans. Holds strong, and never slips, grinds, or anything.
I liked the idea of the air shocks, and the ride they gave me, but I will be hauling a baby in the festy and needed something smoother.

cool and understood. so if you get min wheel hop and torque steer with a stocky with no jack shaft then that tells me that using the rio axle on a g series should yield similar results. thanks for the info bro
