I have no clue why I didn't update this sooner but back in the spring I painted the bumpers black. I used the bumper black from NAPA. The stuff worked GREAT! It keeps the texture of the bumper but turns it black so it looks factory instead of rattle canned. It took a whole can of black and 2 coats but I think it turned out great! I also used their primer for this . . . I don't know if it did any good but since the job turned out well I didn't argue.
I figured I'd keep it on the ramps so I didn't have to lay on the ground.
Front taped off.
Back tapped up.
The newspaper might have been a little superfluous but better safe than sorry
