The pink splash is just bizzare enough that I kind of like it. Not so much on the wheels, though. You should be able to clean the paint off the headlights and corner markers. Try some commercial graffiti remover. You can get it at hardware and paint stores. I have a bass drum that someone spray painted...the graffiti remover took all the spray paint off and left the original lacquerd wood finish untouched. I know it will work on the glass headlights, but test it on a spot on the plastic corner lights to make sure it doesn't melt the plastic first.

Thanks for the tip.. I'll check it out.

I'm trying to figure out the right stance vs. wheel size & offset I want to do. I'm not sure If I want to roll & pull the fenders or get flares. I'm thinking a 13x7 +0 and coilovers with a little roll & pull and I'm gonna have to paint this thing.. Might just go all black.

What do you guys think? $1000 for a running/driving XR2 for a parts donor? Brakes & drivetrain.. It will help with the swap to have the entire car and then I can get a couple hundred out of the rest of it at the scrap yard.. Sell off a couple pieces like the hard top and whatever else on ebay & craigslist.. Sounds like not that bad of a deal.

That's a pretty good deal for a running driving XR2...why so cheap...especially with it having the hardtop!

Good score on the Festy, I'd proudly rock the pink ooze. The hard top on that Capri is worth half what they are selling the car for if it's in good shape, well except most Capri owners are too broke to buy it, lol.

                                Thanks.

I'm one of those guys with the "buy & sell" disease. I'm already considering selling all my gear and doing something different.. haha. wtf is wrong with me! I lose interest in things so quickly. either that or I just like money. Obviously, I like to make a profit. I picked up the festiva and the capri xr2.. decision time. keep them and combine the two cars into one and commit to the project or sell it all and get something that's already put together that's not a huge project. I don't know. uggghh. I'd like to have the turbo festiva and all but, I'm thinking maybe I don't have the time & energy to take on a project like this.. I'll probably end up with two cars in pieces taking up the garage for a year.. ha! I'll sleep on it.
