I'm hoping to be able to supply a complete bush kit very soon. The super pro gear is great I use all their stuff in my customers cars too. I'm beginning to get the itch to make custom (adjustable) arms for car too. Still can't believe how much I've fallen for this little weapon too haha.

Noticed a slight pull to the right under acceleration so I guessed that my lca bushes needed replacing and they did. For a grand total of $19 I went and picked up some nolathane bushes. I'm sponsored by super pro for the other car but was unable to get my hands on anything for the 121 at the moment. So we may have to develop a full bush kit front to back for the festiva and 121 in the very near future.
So much red under the car now 😔
Although handling has been greatly improved now.

Also scored this today for $10 so ill whack it on ASAP.
Only issue now is converting the car to a efi setup to suit the tx3. Hopefully I can use most of the tx3 parts for the conversion.

Apart from more power and some slight differences, they had a much better intake manifold.
My brother is buying a 121/festiva after taking mine for a squirt on the weekend.
We found a guy selling two tx3 turbo fords complete for $1500 so we are going to get those on a couple of weeks hopefully.

Thanks for the comments guys.
So I had a couple of hours spare on a Saturday afternoon (today) so I decided to get my service on seeing as I will most likely get everything else done to the car before I go for a b6t swap (or build a screamer n/a b6).
Ok so today the car copped a full service of the gearbox engine , greased everything , did a valve set , radiator flush (oh man was it brown when I started) , retensioned engine mounts which were surprisingly loose. I also fixed the first problem I found with the car , the 12v accessory plug wouldn't work but after some playing with the multimeter I found it to just be corrosion on the inner terminal of the plug . so I stripped the whole plug and gave the thing a scrub with a bit if emery paper. Also fitted new plugs and had to slighty adjust the timing. Man she ehns sweet now everything is working and I have 100% confidence in my little car now.

I do a lot of performance work for fellow racers cars also. Fitting and tuning suspension components , fabrication work , engine builds etc etc ..... My little side project is called "CONNOR MOTORSPORTS ". Basically between myself and a few buddies we race and build everything from endurance go karting , Mx , road bikes , cars and the list goes on. If it can be pulled apart and made better (faster) it will be.
I'd burn out after a month.

Had some more help from my little buddy to finish up cleaning the car this afternoon . We took off the flaking shades stickers on the window what a crappy job that is. We also gave the car it's first level of polish too. With 2 more to go until its down too the super fine polish then ill wax and seal the paint.
The superstar (just turned 3) has already begun his racing aspirations haha.
I'm beginning to think ill paint the grey bumpers and the side strips gloss black also.Last edited by Potta; 06-28-2013, 06:36 AM.
