              Sounds like low fuel to me. Mine does that too. I've had an oil leak. Put more oil in it and it goes away...

              Here is what mine sounded like from inside the cabin.

                  Uhh.. do you fully warm it up very often? You mentioned driving it only 1 mile. Mine does that at startup for about 30 seconds in the summer, then it's gone. Winter takes up to 4 minutes if it's 30 or less. It seems the oil has to heat up before it'll stop.

                  Hopefully it's something simple, you did a pretty paint job on that engine.

                      You have checked the oil right? Like I said...when mine were sounding like this I was very low on oil.

                        0w20 oil. i rock this in my new bone stock gl with 148k miles and seems more peppy and quieter. Thicker oil may quiet our engine but it doesnt clean or lube it correctly. if i cause long term damage ill never know i dont plan to stay 1.3 powered as long as cash flow is the same for a while.

                          Yeah I was thinking maybe a thinner oil would make it to the top of the motor a lot faster and with ease
