I've been making progress all be it slow. I'm taking my time so I don't break anything. Plus I am trying to keep everything as organized as possible and clean a little along the way.
I've taken the front drive assembly off; removed the auto trans and torque converter; removed the exhaust manifold, timing cover, timing belt, tensioner, water pump and thermostat and housing. I still have the intake manifold, fuel rail, oil pump and oil pan to remove. Once I order and receive the fingers for my engine stand, working on some of this stuff will be much easier.
I've been debating on how far to tear this thing down (mainly because I want to get this thing swapped ASAP) but after seeing the state of the seals so far, I'm thinking the best bet is to tear this thing down far enough to go ahead and replace all the seals. The seals are either 75ish% non-existent or rotten so far.
My goal is to put this engine into my car and not have to do any major repairs/fixes or changes for many many moons!
