I started mine today, without any intake lines hooked up

So question, what can I use on the theads of my drain plugs to make them stop leaking? Teflon tape or something?

Autozone sells a little packet of stuff called Oil drain plug and filter thread sealant.Comes in a very small red and black package usually located on a little rack on the counter.

Ok. Im going to the rent a lift this weekend ill bring some

So it has been a while since I posted anything, its still running pretty good, I am still trying to scrape money together for some more fun things, I fixed a vacuum leak, recalibrated the tps, and adjusted the timing to 13°. According to Ulysses Speedo app I did a quarter mile in just under 14 seconds, who knows how accurate that thing is though lol. It made me smile at least.

Well, it's broke again, it's ticking like it is about to explode. Hopefully it's just an hla?

I cleaned them up real good, reinstalled them and the ticking is still there! Garbage. Upon pulling the valve cover off, it's obvious what one is the problem, it is not tight at all. Oh well I'll re-replace that hla tonight.

Ticking is gone! So happy, it's so shiny too!
