In all honesty I dont think it's short enough throw...but I had it kicking around so I used it. I was trying to get at an mx3's at the wrecking yard but the stupid linkage bolt was frozen and I didnt have a hammer for some reason. The mx3's shifter looks alot like the honda short-shifter kit while the probe's looks alot like the festiva's but not as long.

Yea you gotta extend the lower part to actually shorten the throw. I chopped down a stock shifter and added length to the bottom, love it! Gomez had one kicking around he modified like mine, then ended up buying the honda shifter instead of using it. I'm not sure if he scrapped it yet or what.

Thats awesome! Having that stock length but only moving it half an inch to click it into gear, I only wish! Too bad my welder took a poop

Ordered my inner tierods from rockauto, couldnt be happier! It was actually cheaper to get them from there than a canadian supplier...20 dollars cheaper. Unreal.

As much as I prefer to use a local supplier you can't beat cheaper! My prime example of this was when I was looking for a stock rear transmission mount. Two shops in Calgary said they couldn't get it, a third said it would be 2 weeks and "at least" $30. Rockauto was less that $15.00 delivered to my door in three days!

Phenominal. I shouldve ordered my outers from them as well, wouldve saved a ton. I wonder why it isnt costing an arm and leg in shipping?

Maybe it's actually coming from a warehouse in CA?

Ill definately keep my eye on that...as soon as it has to stop over at the border extra costs are incurred. They dont use UPS so Ill definately order from them again lol

Everything I've bought from Rockauto has come from the US. In most cases they've shipped via Fedex but on the occasions they've used UPS I haven't had any problems. That's because we are billed the GST and with their Canadian business address there's been no duty to pay at the door.

Cleaned my IAC and deleted the EGR valve with a blockoff plate. I swear I doubled my MPG and driving on the highway is much easier! Liking this thing more and more...as long as I dont have to do too many big jobs on days I have to work lol.

I detest salt. That is why my Festiva is hibernating in a barn on a farm somewhere in Milton. Soon. Are you going to Ohiostiva?
