Time for an update on Tweak.
Nothing has really been done to the car, but it just completed yet another 6000+ Mile trip to North Carolina and back. That makes over 18000 miles traveled by this car, just to get to FM5,6 and 9. If that's not something to celebrate, I don't know what is. Lol. The trip to Madness 9 was the best yet for this strung out little meth junkie. The last engine I put in there is a good tight build and the car can cross the entire continent without using a drop of oil. In fact, when we changed the oil before the return trip, the nearly 4000mile oil came out nice and clean! The b6t is a great engine.
Here are some highlights of the trip.
We started off at Fiesta Island state park in San Diego, CA.
Imperial Sand Dunes. Imperial Co. CA.
Stopped for a nice BBQ dinner at Brianliskas place in Phoenix.
Tweak ran out of gas less than a mile from this station just west of Amarillo. She only gets about 270 miles to a tank at 90mph. Pedro came to the rescue with a 2 gallon tank full of gas to get Tweak to the station.
Somewhere in Oklahoma.

First night in N.C. Mother nature washed all the bugs off when we came up over the Smokeys. Tweak looks squeaky clean again!
Corolla Beach, Outer Banks, N.C. Tweak has been here before and knows better than to attempt to drive on the beach sand, especially with Hurricane Joaquin lurking around the corner.
3 days of madness in Raliegh.
Back up over the Smokeys, this time with a nice sunny sky overhead.
Goodbye southeast, hello Midwest.
A rest while the people folk eat dinner at the Asylum in Jerome AZ. This is right along Tweaks most favorite Mountain pass Road. Arizona's rt89a makes deals gap look boring. Tweak knows these curves so well, it practically drives itself through these twisty canyons at blistering speeds.
And here she rests after a nice warm bath and a Pedi. All cozy in her San Diego condo, with plenty of Meth and good memories. Tweak on little partner.Last edited by Advancedynamix; 10-11-2015, 04:36 PM.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Wow, great pics and narration! I thought Madness was @ O'Reilly's this year tho. When did that change? Did Char Grill relent after all?Last edited by TominMO; 10-11-2015, 05:51 PM.90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods

It used a little over a gallon in 6000 plus miles. The meth doesn't come on till 6psi, and at that point your doing things that D.O.T. enforcement types wouldn't approve of. lol. I took a few people on some test rides at Madness and while we stopped across the country, so that is where the bulk of the meth went.
