It used a little over a gallon in 6000 plus miles. The meth doesn't come on till 6psi, and at that point your doing things that D.O.T. enforcement types wouldn't approve of. lol. I took a few people on some test rides at Madness and while we stopped across the country, so that is where the bulk of the meth went. She is a functional tweaker.

Does it guzzle meth?Originally posted by Advancedynamix View PostTime for an update on Tweak.
Nothing has really been done to the car, but it just completed yet another 6000+ Mile trip to North Carolina and back. That makes over 18000 miles traveled by this car, just to get to FM5,6 and 9. If that's not something to celebrate, I don't know what is. Lol. The trip to Madness 9 was the best yet for this strung out little meth junkie. The last engine I put in there is a good tight build and the car can cross the entire continent without using a drop of oil. In fact, when we changed the oil before the return trip, the nearly 4000mile oil came out nice and clean! The b6t is a great engine.
Here are some highlights of the trip.

We started off at Fiesta Island state park in San Diego, CA.

Imperial Sand Dunes. Imperial Co. CA.

Stopped for a nice BBQ dinner at Brianliskas place in Phoenix.

Tweak ran out of gas less than a mile from this station just west of Amarillo. She only gets about 270 miles to a tank at 90mph. Pedro came to the rescue with a 2 gallon tank full of gas to get Tweak to the station.

Somewhere in Oklahoma.

Freeway flyer

First night in N.C. Mother nature washed all the bugs off when we came up over the Smokeys. Tweak looks squeaky clean again!

Corolla Beach, Outer Banks, N.C. Tweak has been here before and knows better than to attempt to drive on the beach sand, especially with Hurricane Joaquin lurking around the corner.

3 days of madness in Raliegh.

Back up over the Smokeys, this time with a nice sunny sky overhead.

Goodbye southeast, hello Midwest.

A rest while the people folk eat dinner at the Asylum in Jerome AZ. This is right along Tweaks most favorite Mountain pass Road. Arizona's rt89a makes deals gap look boring. Tweak knows these curves so well, it practically drives itself through these twisty canyons at blistering speeds.

And here she rests after a nice warm bath and a Pedi. All cozy in her San Diego condo, with plenty of Meth and good memories. Tweak on little partner.

Chris texted me this picture today. It's raining in San Diego, and his wife prefers they drive Tweak in the rain because it gets much better traction than their B3 festy. This brings a smile to my face. Gotta love it when a car with 3 times the factory TQ is easier to drive in the rain than an unmodified version. Both cars have the same suspension and tires (softer front springs on the B3 car.) It's all in that weight forward design with the strengthened front lower rad support. What would the world be like if Ford gave us a Festiva RS like Tweak?

Your welcome. I'm pretty bad about staying on topic, so I can't fault you for it. Lol. I like to moisten a microfiber towel with lacquer thinner and sort of buff the plastic with it. You'll see results quickly.

thanks for the trick Advancedynamix...i'll try the laquer thinner on the bumper,.... a little preparation goes a long way....
also, sorry about hi jacking your thread, i wont post here anymore concerning the bumper stuff, i'll start a new thread...i guess all your pics you've posted of all the work you've done on your cars, and their engines, inspired us..!..) take care !

This thread has kind of been hijacked by this now, but I'll give one final trick. I you wipe the bumpers really good with Lacquer thinner and then apply the Back to Black, it will work even better. The lacquer thinner removes some of the oxidation.

thanks for all you reply's...i have never heard of the trick to spray your cv boots with pam, but i'll give that a try as well..there is something about the oils in pam that restore the color..some people have tried peanut butter lol..yes, its the peanut oil as well that rejuvenates the bumpers ...i'll also report back, and let everyone know just how long the pam spray lasts on the bumpers of my car..i also looked up a study they had of competing trim restorers, and none of them seemed to last more then 70 days or 10 car washes..
however, a few here have said that 'back in black' can last years, and if you watch the promo video on youtube about 'back in black', the one rep says that if you apply 2 coats, it can last up to 7 years..!...now, i cant even believe that, but if you want to see the video:
it looks like it goes on kind of like a paint..idk, from what i have seen, none of them will last forever, but some better then others....
