Press-in studs will be in early next week so I can assemble these '05 Rio stuffs. New rear drums are ordered (per Charlie) and will be redrilled for 4x100 and powder coated as well.
Parts have been coming in several times a week. Things are going really well with parts stocking. I would say another 3 months then it will be time for the engine work (mounts, build, and engine stuff purchasing). Still thinking about Gunmetal Grey for the engine bay highlight color.
I have started the lower radiator support mod (again, per Charlie). Seems simple enough but am unsure if I should wait til I get the engine/tranny and the like all stuffed in there first.
old lady. weekend grocery getter. kept in garage. scared of rain and snow. got sick. gave it to nephew. nephew didn't like it. I bought it. end of story !!!
Same story with her previous car. A 72 Nova. 1200 miles when traded it in on the Festiva.
So how much cashola did you fork over for this beauty? Love the thread. Keep up the good work! :-)
I'm my view. If you feel the need for a power antenna set up. Chances are youll never see the full benefit of that brace anyway.
Get a second car for the track Dan. Leave the green one as the luxury model
Gomez, now is the time to remove your long brake and fuel lines and have them profiled for stainless replacement lines. You could use either Inline in Michigan or Classic in Buffalo, New York.
Unfortunately, I cannot do what you did.
It might be a tight squeeze if you attempted it or removed the plate that is welded to the brace.
The only other way is to weld the pates to the outer side of the braces
Thanks for stopping by today man your help was much appreciated! We got er runnin and they just left about 30 mins ago. Took longer than i had hoped but it got done!
