So the rear spacers arrived, and the rear wheels went on. I believe it was bomber that said with these high spring rates you get a bounciness when using taller tires (The sidewalls flex and bounce, and the hard suspension transmits this into the car). I did in fact notice the rear bounced a lot on the 12's. After installing the 14's the bounciness is completely gone.
The suspension is incredibly hard, I will be installing softer springs soon. If it were a dedicated track car, I think it would be acceptable, but where I live the roads are too mangled to live with this everyday. So yep, go ahead You told me so! lol
I meant to refinish the wheels before installing them, but I got the tires and just couldn't wait. Besides, its been too cold to lay paint anyway. Despite the sanded down, half stripped appearance of the wheels, it looks tough!

gettin it done! I like it! Usually when Advance(charlie) says something suspension related we follow without question. He's the real McCoy as far as suspension guru's go. Won't find many people with his qualifications even willing to give advice, let alone for a ford festiva lol..
have you considered an engine swap yet or you gonna keep the stock power plant?

Yeah, I understood what he was saying completely. And I think the biggest problem I had was just that I had already bought and paid for these parts, so now I need to work with what I have. Maybe I don't have the experience he does, but I was the first to do DIY coilovers for a first gen Rx-7 so I like to think I know a little bit about suspensions lol
However, I was wrong!
For now the car is staying B3 powered. I bought light wheels, and relatively light tires staying close to the 12 inch tires circumference. I may build tire spats to help make up for the extra tire width though. In the future I will be BP swapping my Miata, when that time comes Ill have a B6 laying around doing nothing. But I feel like the B3 will still get better economy than a B6 powered Festiva, though I could be wrong.
