    A few upgrades to post

Had to have a boost gauge.... Pulls good vacuum at idle

Once it got plated, it needed a new CD player, so I got one with Bluetooth so I can talk hands free on my cell

Then I picked up overnight parts from Japan..... Actually Poland, I wanted to quote fast and furious lol

JDM corners, headlights, and 220km/h speedos (stock only goes to 200)

    Old and busted

    New hotness

I still need to swap the clusters though

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

You weren't kidding when you warned me on the "what I did to my Festi today" thread that your next project involved a lot of welding and fab work. Nice rescue!

Thanks but I wasn't talking about this project.... Besides, I look at this strut tower fix as a quick job.... My next one will be way more involved

Yes, an excellent score! Here in Arizona the poor thing would have been parted with out a thought.
Arizona doesn't do rust. Of course, everything else,.........
          No car too fast !

            My 88' 323 GT

            She needed a bath

Borrowed the dry cell battery from my festiva

            Some LED dome lighting action

Then some blue H4 bulbs to compliment the JDM lights

I've been fairly disappointed with the heater in the car and by looking at the condition of the rad, I've decided I want to do an overhaul of the heating/cooling system, but that won't happen til spring time or when the weather warms up a bit lol

I have the identical led dome light in all three of my Festivas. They are great.
More light and leaving the door ajar doesn't leads to a dead battery for a very very long time.
                        Really nice 323 you have.

It has the typical manifold crack starting so a fix is in the works

Weld els from acestainless.com is the plan

Most likely I'll look for another B6T to use as mock up to minimize downtime on the 323

But I'm most likely going to upgrade the turbo and intake piping while I'm at it

swap to a gt2560 from an sr20det nissan. they are pretty cheap (if you get the journal bearing one) one from a low mileage car (I've bought several nice low mileage ones off eBay for 150 bucks or so). Once you have the T25 flange and the layout for a GT series turbo you can upgrade easily without remaking any plumbing. a journal bearing 2560 will be a nice dd turbo in that car.
