That top one for the e36 might, but I haven't tried that. I have taken a few of those off of E36 cars and built custom ones for turbocharged track cars.

Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

She's been running quite well lately. I've been checking the oil quite frequently and I had to add a quart a few weeks after the swap. Since then I haven't had to add any oil. Still running stock boost and I still need to get an air oil separator. I'm also still trying to figure out how to get an intercooler to fit. I haven't been working on it much lately as I've been focusing on finishing parting the Capri. Scrapped it last weekend and now I'm sorting parts.1990 L Plus Stock B3 automatic -scrapped- My First Festiva - RIP

Well after a few months of forum silence (I've been active on Facebook), the former B6d+t was taken back to N/A after a head gasket failure due to the compression being too high (9.4:1 pistons). It isn't running well and after a compression test, I believe the timing is off. My numbers were 58/50/25/58 on a warm engine. The car ran really well before the head gasket so I know there are no internal issues. So, my guess is timing.
The car doesn't have heat due to the heater core being bypassed, so I am parking it for the winter. The issue with the heater core is the two tubes that connect to the hoses are bent a bit and need to be heated up and reformed. I'll be driving a 94 N/A Capri 5-speed that I recently purchased. I was initially going to part the Capri out, but for now, it'll be my winter beater.
So, perhaps next year sometime I'll rebuild the B6t swap with ARP studs and Cometic head gasket. Time will tell.1990 L Plus Stock B3 automatic -scrapped- My First Festiva - RIP
