yvan is that a real track time? not gtech? I'd love to see the whole slip if you could scan it. Not that i don't believe it, just want to analyze the details.

              sniff

i made it on my g-tech, the first track is about 600 Miles from my town

i made the pass 3 time and i have about the same result the 3 times and our track is not flat...we climb about 75 feet from start to end.

if you adjust the g-tech properly and the time is the time from the car not the driver...lol anyway

umm, if your going to check with a g-tech you should race both directions on the same road. It cancels out it's unevenness and winds etc.

                Thanks

If you set the g-tech properly it will read zero gs on flat ground. If you race up hill then it will add gs to the entire run and make the run look faster than it is even though the car is going slower cause of gravity. and the opposite on the way down the hill. If you did a test three times uphill and then three times down hill and averaged them out you would have a good estimate. I have used my g-tech on cars that I have taken to the track and it is very close to the actual performance that I see at the strip, but even at .04 gs on unlevelness it is almost 1 second differant in the quarter mile so if you don't have a flat road it can make a huge differance so find one retest and repost.

                    3- 13.10 at 114.3 mph
                    ok reverse side...
                    1- 13.3 at 113.7 mph
                    2- 13.17 at 114 mph

yvan, try something more like 12-13 in those g-forces. I run 15 in my street tires, with drag radials like that you'll be able to run lower pressures. Most of the guys on the VW forum i'm on run about 12-13 and it seems to work well for them.
