  • new fastest 1/4 mile drag time! fastiva runs a 13.2!!!!

so with the same set of worn out slicks i ran my 13.5 @ 106ish on and my new evoIII 16g turbo unable to get a good burn out(or when the burn out was good the clutch would slip) and with crappy launches i pulled an amazing 13.213@110.295 and a 13.243@110.061

      I bet that's a 12 second car with a 1.9 or 1.8 sixty foot...if that's even possible with these cars.

By the way, ^^^ That's 99.9% city driving

Nice trap speed. I ran mid 12's at that speed so i'm sure you can too. Those are the same size tire I use.

Nice. Good traps too. I'm trapping 103-104. So you've got room for improvement.

Congrats again. PM Genevadirt and get moved on the list. (If fresh doesn't make you provide a video :lol

Regardless of that- a 100-110 trap speed is a 12 second car yeah?

Congrats on the mph...Mextiva was doing high 12´s flat and low 13's all day long in sac. raceway..this was on a 20x8x14 so I think you should be close to mid 12's easy..
My suspention at that time was the stock festiva springs cut them about two coils on every side.kyb struts..
after that i went with some cheap coilovers.and the car ran the same, but had some issues..
                            My best was 12.7 @ 108.??
I had to sell Mextiva due to priorities.when i was in the process of runing atleast low 12's.
Now I might get the little beast back from my friend..we agreed the he would not sell it to anyone else than family..
My plan is getting the car first, if i do,i will add a 50 shot and see if we can improve times,traction.. i tried fms lowering springs and for me they did nothing, every time i launched my car sat on my rear wheels so i took them off right away,i was running 15'' so i know i was pushing them.
I would like to know if the tein coilover would help me get traction,if they would ill buy them if not ill just have to get the stock spring and cut them again.thats the best ride i had but i had my tires worn too fast, not good on a daily driver i guess.
I hope to see some of you guys,i think we have nice festivas up nor cal...
