interesting, very interesting. blows my mind too cuz my dad has an 07 gt and it packs one heck of a punch when it's to the floor for a stock factory car.
Thats my biggest complaint about the Festy, it has all the aerodynamics of a brick. Imagine how fast/fuel efficient you could make one of these if the were actually streamlined.

Festivas and aspire I believe have a drag coefficient of .36, the same as a new edge mustang. The fact that the frontal area of a festy is small helps a lot.
Block the grill, lower the car, make skirts over the back wheels, use LRR tires, and put a belly pan under the car. That coefficient will probably drop to .30 at least. If you wanna go crazy build a "kammback" or boat tail. Thats sure to draw attention but your hwy mpg will go way up.

That's with my KLZE festiva, i trapped 98 mph with my stock B6T, my V6 isn't quite running right so I expect better times with it once I get the proper ECU in it
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

that's super slow, something's wrong. I hope you get it sorted! I was expecting 103-105mph trap speeds from that car right off the bat.
