Got kicked out of the track

On my strut hats they have a dot on them in the rubber itself, the dots are suppose to be pointing to the inside of the car.

It's always the simplest things that get ya... I have been working on a MGB for almost 2 years trying to get it to run right and after boring the block (which it had .030 taper so it needed it) and rebuilt the carb twice I found that the me setting the points by "eyeballing" it set me about .018 off specs. My boss was a lil frustrated... but we upgraded to electronic ignition now so it's all good. F' points....

So if I install it backwards will I get positive camber? I just went to get an alignment and I have -2.4 and -3.2 camber

yeah, try flipping them around, it will either give you less camber or a heck of alot more camber, lol. At least its easy to spin them; unbolt the two nuts at top, rotate 180 degrees.

Also, are you running the Capri front brakes with the Aspire LCAs? Because as far as I remember that would be the only reason to run them on a Festiva.

Yes I am and I regret it. I wish I went with the aspire ones all the time.

You wish you would of went with Aspire brakes all around you mean? Well regardless your going to gain camber if you lower your car, so you probably need some camber bolts.

I wish I went with aspire brakes just in the front. I have camber bolts and it's still really bad.

It would of been really goofy having 4x100 up front and 4x114 in the rear though, lol.

No one will notice if you have both bolt pattern on your rim

I'm only running the capri rims up front and stock ones in the back:p Looks goofy already

I plan on aspire swapping my rear. Galant 10.5" rotors up front and festy 2" drums in the rear isn't the best balance.

I was gonna find some dual lug wheels but I think I will just run adapters in the back and keep my Capri wheels. I need them spaced out anyway.

Yes I did. I think I had them backwards. I took it back to the alignment shop but they said my strut was broken and couldn't work on it. When I took a look at it at home it was just a rubber/plastic washer that got smushed on the strut hat...

They just didn't want to do the work on it because I wasn't paying them and they only had an apprentice there.
