well i didnt fix the vics yet but i did tie it open and finally ran the wrx and my friend with the a4 ran with us too. well they are both awd cars so the launch was a no go for me the wrx jumped a car length off the bat. he was staging his clutch pretty bad (more like burning it up ha ha) you could smell it for an hour after we parked it. i pulled the a4 rite off the line and left him smelling my lean exhaust popping flames out the tail pipe. after i finally hooked up at the end of second (i should have rode second out longer) i shifted into 3rd dumped the clutch and grabbed hard. at this point im 3-4 lengths behind him and smelled nothing but stage 1 clutch. in my head im praying it wasnt mine. by the time it was done the a4 was 4-5 lenghts behind me and i had not closed the gap with the wrx at all . i wasnt super dissapointed because i redeemed myself some by taking the a4 but after 2yrs of talking trash on my friend becaus i was convinced that i could take him... oh well it was all fun and we are still friends

ohh yea this whole thing took place on a steep uphill back road so that didnt help me and gave his awd subie a defenant advantage

Dude get the VICS hooked up right!!!! You should still lose but your car will be at it's full potential. Idk thou maybe you'll get him(poor suby clutch). One of my friends has a stock WRX so maybe I'll race him and see how much of that loss was driver error haha!!! Glad to hear your getting to enjoy the bp a little at least thou. You can make fun of me too if you want I just popped a headgasket on my white car, prolly just gonna swap over the other BP I have and get the other ready for a little boost!!!!

im pretty sure the bp in a festy can take a stock wrx, i have read others that say they took them with the bp alone no turbo. my friend has some work done like a computer upgrade and intake/exhaust a couple of other things so it aint stock

i think you are rite that there is some driver error so your not making fun you are stating facts. i still need to get used to the 7200 rpm range because i shift too early like im still driving the b6. i could still get another grand out of it before i shift, plus i need to get used to the way it launches so i know where it grabs off a dig and not just go wot on it like i could in the b6. none the less it was fun and want to do it on an open stretch with a second gear roll so he doesnt have the launch advantage.

NA BP is a high 14 sec car at best...you ain't gonna take a wrx.

yea i did start collecting parts to boost my b6 but im reconsidering now i have what i need except for the fmu and walbro. but the turbo i have is tiny but i did find a turbo at work and its bigger ill post pics so you guys can take a look at it. also i have that stupid pacesetter id prob have to get rid of. anyway i need to put suspension the bp first but ill be coming for him
