I hope anyone who street races get into fiery one car accidents that prevents them from ever driving again. Seriously it is retarted... There are enough tracks available; use them.

Whether you think anyone else is around or not, you never know. It is irresponsible and childish. Imo, or course.

Well I disagree. They are putting innocent peoples lives at risk and should be stopped at any cost. If they get caught first, sent to jail, and have their cars impounded, that would make me happy too. With a crash though, they'd at least know how all the innocent victims of street racing feel.

They are both equally dumb. If you had started a Texting and Driving thread, I would have voiced my concerns there as well.

Common sense is always called for. We used to go out17/92 between deland and daytona beach, with cb's. Straight and flat for miles and empty after midnight. Spotters with cb's , measured out quarter, look out for cops.... safe enough!

i text, eat, and street race at the same time... and i still dont miss shifts or lose. pick your battles noob. ive dealt with people on both sides of this argument since i got my license. i see both sides and i agree with points on both but to wish a young kid dead in a fiery crash is absolutely absurd. just because he likes to play with the toy he has spent countless hours of fabrication, research and hard earned money on.

I didnt say die, I said cripple. And in my opinion, that's a whole lot less harsh than what would happen should some young kid happen to run into the street during this race...

I'm sorry, because he has money and time into his car, he is forced to street race? I've got as much money and time into my cars as just about anyone, and I take my cars to the race track to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

I'd probably pull out my car and do some burnouts with ya. Nothing wrong with some 2am burnouts.... Just don't drive down my street at 120MPH side by side with some Civic...
