Has anyone hit 11 seconds with a bp turbo festiva yet? just wondering

There's a Festiva that was built by the member (celicaGT4) that made 304whp, apparently it runs 11's but no one has ever seen proof, that's the only one I know of

alright just wondering cause Im rebuilding my bp cause I crashed into a tree and thought might as well rebuild the engine so I went with forged cp pistons, eagle rods, acl bearings, arp head and main cap bolts, racing timing belt and cometic head gasket, gasket kit from domestic gasket for the rest and got the head redone. I wanted to boost it after the rebuild it is done and was wondering if its hard to get to 11's because of traction? or some other reason? thanksComment

From reading about other people cars, I would say the two major things to think about would be traction and transmission strength. ( Which of course go hand in hand. More traction and power, trans life goes way down in these cars.)Comment

If 11's were easy to get in a festiva, don't you think there'd be more 11 sec times on the fastest festiva list?

Just don't expect your transmission to last. I've broken three with only 180hp.91 Festiva BP Autocross/Track/Rallycross hopeful

The diff's are the weak points, get an mfactory LSD and the trans will take a lot of abuse

^^the phantom slip I used helped my diff pin go through the tranny, I'll never use another one again
