the oe mazda ones dont hold to drag racing according to the guys on clubprotege. go with the mfactory one. i love mine.

Yup those factory LSD's in the mazdaspeed protégés are prone to exploding

That being said, I blew up 2 differentials, 3 3rd gear synchros and a turbo within 11 months.1989 Carby L: Stock. Slow.
