    We have 195 60 r14 which took aggressive surgery to get the car lowered enough to get 1.0 camber in the rear. Since there is no real adjustment for more camber you have to use the car's geometry to get more rear camber. Getting good rubber is the best, passing cars on the inside of the corner will keep you emptying your piggy bank for more. We have to race with street tires at the tread wear of 195 or higher. (Higher the number the harder the tire). The Azena 615k is our brand. Also, we use surprisingly low tire pressure. 26 in the front and 18 in the rear. This change alone will scrub a second or so off your laps if you are employing front wheel drive, early apexing, method. --I'm addicted--

      UPDATE.
      I went out again with new wheel bearings and new tires, WAY better. Took 4th place, and the guy who took 3rd was less than a second faster.... really wanted that podium medal but oh well.

        What tires did you end up going with?

          I ended up getting the toyo R888's incredible difference!
          With these tires, having the lowest horspower car on the track doesnt make me feel as impotent.
          basically i came in 4th behind:
          1: 2014 turbo focus 250 hp best lap 1:58
          2. 2010 mazdaspeed3 260 hp best lap 2:07
          3. 2000 focus w/mods. best lap 2:10.466
          4. 93 festiva. stock BP. best lap 2:10.974

          I never really believed they guys who said that the suspension and tires make up alot for horsepower, i come from drag racing so everything can be fixed with more power. But this is a whole new car that drives like a go kart and im officially hooked. I got another race wednesday and another on sunday. Im gonna go broke!

              Well, first ever Autocross is in the books, had a really good time. Unfortunately the engine swap puts me in a pretty competitive class full of some really quick cars but the festy did ok. The official results haven't been finalized but i think i finished in the middle of the pack.

                been a while so heres an update...im still racing (trying to anyways)
                couple weeks ago i did an event in the rain, it was miserable doing the course work but driving was really fun. The Toyo R888's did really good in the rain.
                this is the last race i did naturally aspirated. Car is now turbo.

                ended up 17th overall out of 41 cars

                    They are Circle racing wheels. I ordered them through summit racing. 13x7 0 offset. They can build them to whatever offset you like.

                                which video? if you mean the first one i posted i agree, that was a bad day. I'm getting more comfortable driving this thing fast, once dialed in these cars are unbelievable.
                                If you missed it, i posted 2 vids on page 2 when i went back to the track and took off my pink high heels and found the gas pedal.

                                And heres a new video of a recent autocross, this was the first time out with the car being turbo, the sealed asphalt was super slick. This is one of our biggest autocross venues we have locally, i didnt do too well at this event, took 4th in my class (out of 5) and like 57th out of 97 cars HAHA
