Speaking of stickers. Where can I get the fordfestiva.com stickers? I've looked in the FF gear and couldn't really find it(or I'm just blind). Also, is it possible to get the 1.3L EFI stickers?

    Sorry to hijack the thread!

I was looking at Jay Leno's Shogun..and man..that is a NICE piece of work. Most people wouldn't be able to tell what the original car is, but I can see the festiva underneath.

I will give him the sticker, and if he dosent want it, I will put it on the Rental car Just kidding!

Yes this is the Blue car you speek of, it used to be owned by Jack Ireton-Hewitt, and it was modified with a Vortech- SHOshop blower, larger 3.2 engine, kinesis Wheels exc.. and run in several one lap events. It was sold to a friend of his that also runs in one lap events, but the intent is not to run it any more..... I know some rules have changed with that race, I havent had time to read most of the changes, but my guess is some affected the class in witch this car would run, or something? Maybe not, but to me running a RWD Blown Festi VS a FWD Saturn seams a bit unfair.... but then again I'm not a lover of Saturns

In my Repoing days I repoed 6 saturns over a 2 year period, and 3 of them broke down or failed to get me where I was going. One I got to my house witch has a large slant to the driveway, and it didnt have reverse, and I parked it very close to my garage..... ARG!! I HATE Saturns!

                          ?

No, No ride... The car has no curent registration, and the owner wasnt present...the trip went well but time wasnt in the cards... The owner of the car was in Florida, and his mechanic, Bob, had to be at his wifes graduation from medical school, so i didnt get a hole lot of time with the car... I took a ton of pictures, but wanted to also draw some of the frame sections and put the demensions on paper... I got enough info to keep me busy for a long time... The car is going to Florida in Sept. some time, so I might get to see it again on its way down. ( I dont live very far from 95-S)
So I hope Bob will take me up for my offer for a place to stay on his trip down to Florida in Sept... That way I get to see it again. I will say the car in general took me by surprize..... The Racing heritage of this car was hard on it, It shows very low miles, but needs some attention in some spots , but Bob is going to be working on that over the next couple of weeks. I hope to have some uploading done tonight, but here is a start

Oh I was kidding about the Camera! I will size them down, but offer a full Res. in a off site link

Yep its a sho spindle with a festiva lower control arm. The rotor hub is pressed in from the outside antdthe last part of the CV goes into it with a nut on the outside to hold it all together. It seems they made a simple stub shaft to replace the CV joint. You could just use the factroy end with everything else removed.

To make the festiva arm work with the sho spindle just use a split bushing to take up the space. Then drill it from the side so the factory bolt passes threw the bushing and the festiva ball joint. They are the same design except the festiva is just smaller.

Is this the area of the spoiler we were talking about?

No spitters were I work, you swallow it all. The Company feels if you already have it in your mouth why waste it.
