Interesting. The table doesn't even list an 88 L+! Was the A/C factory or dealer installed, do you know? Radios are optional across the board. So I'm still confused as to the point of an L+--other than the stripe?!

I'm getting the impression that the L+ was a way to make a midrange model, depending on what parts they had left over after making the L and LX versions, in any given model year. It seems unnecessary to have three versions of what is basically an entry-level car. A/C is always optional (factory or dealer), as is the radio, so there is no need to post about those.

i do not have a 1991 or 93 brochure maybe someone else has them.

a/c was always an option. i have one GL with factory air, and i know dealers added it on also. the add on a/c didnt work as well from the cars i know that had it.

              The 88 L+ I have came with:
              am/fm cassette radio
              rear window defroster
              body side tape stripe
              A/C

There is no indication on the car that it is an L+.
But I know it is because it was on the window sticker when I bought it new.
Now if I can just find that window sticker.

the original brochure only lists L and LX as models for that year.

I find it funny that the link lists "glove box" ;p
Are there models out there without them?
