Just bought a Festiva! :D ***PICS UPDATED***

Hey everyone!

I just bought mine today. It's a white, injected, manual 1993 with 173000km on it. As I live in Quebec it does have rust which is impossible to not have, but not bad at all. Just wanted to say 'hi' and express my surprise at how awesome the Festiva community forums are, loads better than for some other cars...

Love those graphics! Is that a split rear seat? Those are pretty rare IIRC.

are you sure its a 93'? Looks like a 90' LX to me. Ither that or someone dressed up your 93' with 90' LX options. Dose it have a rear wiper? What dose it say on the hatch? Ither way great score!

^^Thats what I was thinking, a 90 LX. Except it doesn't have a tach which all 90's had. It must have some 90 upgrades.

Um, the hatch doesn't say anything, but the PO and the blue licensing paper both say it's a '93...

Yes it does have a rear wiper, I also had a picture of the hatch but messed up with the links, I'll fix that.

Overall it's a fun little car, the only 3 problems is it slightly overheats with city driving, the clutch's pretty much dead and the shifter doesn't wiggle in neutral but stays firm, which I don't know, might be normal?

You know, you'd be surprised but I was shocked that everyone on this forum repainted their cars or something as the graphic wasn't there lol. 90% of Festivas and Aspires I see around here have that graphic...

I checked your cars on cardomain and I noticed the white cluster with a tach, where can I get one? Does it come stock on any models and if yes would it be possible to just get it from a Ford dealership?
