            I made some progress on the appearance and mechanicals today.

            Put a new valve cover gasket and throttle body gasket on it, that took care of the oil leak.

            Also, painted the bumpers and trim, and the faded black around the windows.
            Also put the alloys and Sumi's off the blue car on it.. it made a heck of a difference... still want to paint the rest..

              WOW!!! It cleaned up real nice.

                        Lay some love on that festiva !! 8) Ive got two 89 autos and they have some cool features. Wider side molding, better interiors, EFI, most have A/C, cool orange clusters with grey backing, rear window defrost, black roof pillars, old style grill, smoothie tail lights, manual seat belts, etc.

                            uh.... more paint... LOL... it is just temporary till I get a new bumper cover, or paint it body color.... but it DOES look pretty good, even up close.
