You should lower it on some 14'' BBS with some low profile tires. Any plans for a radio? It is strange how the car could go 25 years without getting one installed.

Yeah, what Jim said... I don't need no stinking radio... lol..

It is a LIGHT car... no need to make it heavier... the thing barely weighs 2200 pounds... not quite as trim as a Festy, but not too far off!!!

Very nice, 2 suggestions for you. One, join the bmwcca, parts advice etc and the car is a Bimmer
                the bike is a beemer.
This is from someone who ran a 73 2002tii for 16 years and love them but eventually it will eat
a hole in your pocket but they're awesome machines.

I take it that the rear marker lights have been added to comply with US standards?

They wern't a standard fitting on Euro spec vehicless.
Tell it like it is...not how it should be

That is possible, as I know they weren't on the Euro models... That was a long time ago.. they look bad... but hey... they are already there. If I restore it, I will remove them and weld the holes..

I "might" it would be H Stock, and that is a pretty cool class, actually, it would be the same class as a stock Festy!!

It handles very well, but isn't very fast... I don't know... I think I will at least run it through the cones once or twice, just to see how it does.

Right now, I am having fun working on it. I now have a grand total of $285 in it... although the parts are not all installed yet... I have an ignition switch coming, as well as a new center grille..

Plus it needs some attention to wiring and lighting... fun stuff..

                                It's definitely getting better!!

Here is the rear after some bodywork and paint today, the before is in another thread under off topic
