GTX shocks
Here are the reference items I obtained from Festiva GTX:
Festiva GTX shock part number R004 D004 34 700C
The switch that controls them.
A typical wiring diagram.Last edited by bravekozak; 02-18-2012, 10:13 PM.

Thank you so much for your mail. Unfortunately, the mat has already been
discontinued here in Japan so I can NOT get it for you.
I'm sorry about that.
If you have any questions, please let me know by e-mail. Have a good day.
Yours faithfully,

My guess from what you are listing would be:
Type 1 Blue oval plasic emblem on all hatches
Type 2 88&9 plastic emblem Festiva
Type 3 88&9 plastic emblem LX
Type 4 88&9 plastic emblem L
Type 5 90 up decal set Festiva L
Type 6 1990 US & later Canadian LX
Type 7 1991 up decal set L Plus
Where is the GL decal set, though? Obsolete & no longer listed?

No, that isn't it. My local Ford parts guy (a Festiva owner himself) kindly photocopied about 50 pages of the Festiva parts manual (sadly, with about 98% of the parts showing as being discontinued....) and one of those pages showed emblem types 1 - 7.
Type 1 the standard Ford emblem
Type 2 "Festiva"
Type 3 "LX"
Type 4 "L"
Type 5 "Festiva" and "L" (2 separate pieces)
Type 6 "Festiva" and "LX" (2 separate pieces)
Type 7 "Festiva" and "L PLUS" (2 separate pieces)
I asked what the difference was between a Type 2 "Festiva" and a Type 7 "Festiva" because in the drawing from the parts book the script "Festiva" looks exactly the same. Why would Ford show 2 different typs of "Festiva" badges if they were the same thing. Must be the only difference is just some of the types you got a single emblem and some of them you got two? Not a big deal. Just curious if anybody knew.

Any help?
Maybe one was the FESTIVA L and the second one FESTIVA LX. Ive got a dozen of them and they all look the same, besides the L / LX thing. There is the AUS version too.

It's hard to find a NOS Festiva emblem nowadays.
Here is one that has not been violated. Notice the adhesive on both ends under the release tape.
And from the front.

Sorry I forgot to let you know that I only paid $120 for the set of 4 alloys with the newer studded winters AND chains!Originally posted by freshtiva View PostKind of pricey on the stock alloys, Id almost sell a whole set for that price.
I was very happy!

Kia Prides from Iran had an old style manually tuned radio with lock buttons.
The 4 door Iranian Prides had power locks.
Four green wants $33.50 for each lock controller (KK14258350)
and $16.91 for the door lock relay & timer (KK19167830C)

Kia mud flaps
Kia mud flaps are identical to the rare Festiva mud flaps, except that they don't have any embossed logos.
Kia mud flaps have the individual part numbers on each one.
KD001 51 840 FLAP RH-FRT
KD001 51 850 FLAP LH-FRT
KD002 51 830 FLAP LH-RR
KD002 51 870 FLAP RH-RR
They are standard on Kia Prides in Germany.
