I want the right hand drive chassis. Festivas get enough odd look as it is. Imagine if you were driving from the wrong side of the car

A few parts only found on the early Mazda 121s:
-Air ducts that direct heat to the back seats
-Heated front seats
-Headlight washers (nozzles that spray washer fluid onto the headlights)
-Sliding rear seat, adjustable 7"
-"Sport" interior similar to ours but with more of an '88-'89LX feel to it
-Smaller rear bumper and 2-piece front bumper, the lower section of which could be painted
-One-piece front grille, black plastic on early models; slightly redesigned and painted on later ones
Overall the 121's were pretty basic - no power options or EFI, and limited cosmetic choices. Ironically, the US Festivas had a lot more variety than their European counterparts ever did!
-TimWhite '89L auto - Sold!
Silver '06 Rav4, 95k!

I don't believe it was that rare. I have it and I know a junkyard where I can get you one, if you want it.Last edited by bravekozak; 10-07-2013, 08:08 PM.

Yes. In my opinion tilt steering is only good for small people or cars with cruise. Otherwise it is not necessary to lower the wheel. Did you want a tilt steering column?Last edited by bravekozak; 10-23-2013, 04:12 PM.

The only ones I had with the bumpers were a 90 LX.. Smurffy. Also had the blacked out area under the back glass, and one year only styled power mirrors with blue tinted mirror glass in them like a gen 2 Taurus I had. Bronze wheels on a 91 Funtop car. Not sure when or why certain cars got certain strange things. Have to believe that some were supposed to make "special" editions, some with those 80's style graphics, some things were like they slapped on whatever was in a parts bin that day. That is just like the ATX cars that got 1/2" wider steel wheels and beauty rings, Curmudgeon came with rear defog, but no wiper, etc.Have owned 9 so far
White 89 L converted to LX "The Curmudgeon" Being a Curmudgeon right now.
Blue 89 L converted to LX "Shtinky" FMS crate engine, cam, flywheel, hail dents
Smurf Blue 90 LX "Smurffy" He Ran Away From Home!!!!!! Says Willie loves him more than I did!
Red 88 L converted to LX "Rasta, Mon" Now retired
Where did all these @#*&%$ Toyotas come from around here?

Oh.. and Smurffy had the only post 89 tilt wheel column I saw. Have the tilt on 3 89's I still have, but after the dashboard/passive seat belt change for 90, never saw that again. That was the end of the LX too, and start of GL & L PlusHave owned 9 so far
