  • removing factory stickers/stripes?

Just wondering if anyone has any hints regarding how to easily remove the stickers/stripes?

I've used the hair dryer with a straight edge and some come off fine but with the other stripes only the top layer comes off. Anything that would make this easier?

Plain old mineral spirits or paint thinner on a soft towel with elbow grease will do it. Not the good expensive stuff...but the cheap stuff will work better because it will not go after the paint as easily...biggest trick...don't rub to hard to generate any heat.

a rubber wheel decal remover on a die grinder air tool will take off the decal with the adhesive...that way you don't have to use mineral spirits/wd-40
