    Got my BP today, and in the box of parts, there was this:



    Any idea what it is? My guess would be an automatic tranny ECU...
    The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

    hmmm... Doesn't look like a Mazda B-series ECU to me, actually kinda reminds me of the ones in a 1.9 escort... been a while since I've seen one though so I can't say for sure.
    No festiva for me ATM...

        ^^^ hahaha! I knew that WITHOUT Google! Can you tell I have WAY too much Ford exposure!

        Its called an EEC-IV (pronounced EEK four) PCM (Powertrain Control Module). It has 60 pins (pin 1 is power, pins 40 and 60 are ground), this one appears to have been manufactured by Motorola or one of its contractors (vs GTE, who was the other major supplier). Ford used one processor to control the engine and trans, hence the PCM moniker. Like I said, way too much....
