That doesnt seem right. The chart show that an automatic wasnt an option on a Festiva L in 1989. :?

They both say festiva L. Maybe they didnt have the Plus badge then. Both cars do have automatics , A/C, and Black roof pillars. Ever see a 89 L plus with the Plus designation ??

Never seen the plus desination but according to the chart the plus's had the black pillers and the standard L did not.

The chart says A/C, EFI or auto wasnt even an option on the L. And if the 89 plus has A/C it also has the factory tinted glass. The plus has clock in radio the L doesnt. Im not sure what Ive got now. :?

Does that mean my '89 L is really an L plus?

The only options it has are hockey stripe, AC, and an am/fm radio, and rear defrost. The glass isn't tinted near as I can tell, but it does have a clock on the radio. I still have the original window sticker I'll have to see what it says on it.

I don't think I've ever seen an L plus badge, only decals. Maybe they only labeled cars that had the L plus package in '90.

Looks like an L plus because of the black piller trim. Hard to say if the list is 100% correct.

Yea, it's a four speed. I just looked at your pics of Jesse to check for black pillars. Looks like he's got them too. I just assumed all '88-'89 models had them. Looks like air was only available on the '89 L Plus and LX as well. I guess I've got an L Plus on my hands. Cool! 8)
