    Headgasket problem was with the 3.8 engine not the 3.0.
    3.0 is one of the most reliable engines Ford has builted.

      3.0 is very reliable, my only beef with them is the cooling system, on the two I owned and now on Dad's. And at least with me its usually a phantom problem that I can never trace down till one day the car overheats a bit much and I don't notice... then bad things happen :!:
      No festiva for me ATM...
