  • Barn find. Its a keeper!!

I actually found this car 3 yrs ago right after I bought my first one. But, I dismissed it because I didn't want another auto. kept up with it, then realize the only way I was going to get a decent FI 5spd was to convert this one.

89 LX with all the options. Auto, FI, AC, AM/FM no cass, Tach, Power mirrors, Hatch washer/wiper/heater, Split rear seats, adjustable head rest, UNDER SEAT TRAY, Tilt wheel.

Only thing I don't think it has is cruise, fun top, or tinted windows.

Only has 129k on it. Straight rust free body. Good paint for a 19 year old car. Great interior. Even the dash light dimmer works. But the dome light doesn't.

I have replaced the fuel pump and master cylinder. Needs a head gasket.

Think I'm going to replace the head gasket. Drive it while I rebuild/replace the engine in my 91. Then pull this engine, fix the oil leaks and do some preventive maintenance. At the same time convert it to a five speed. Already have a boot/ring and knob.

Fuel injected 89 LX. The best of both worlds. The best trim package in my opinion, plus the better fuel economy of the efi. Convert that thing to 5 speed! Nice score!

super glue works the best but then again you will have to glue over all those white out marks on the screen if you've used word lately lol

If the A/C was factory installed the windows will have a slight tint to them. And the Funtop and cruise weren't factory options either. Cruise would have been dealer installed. Should have a cargo light too.
