I'm running 165/65/14's bridgestone potenzas. I do need to feather the clutch alot so I don't spin. If I had the 185/60/14's on it would hook up a lot better but they rubbed when I hit potholes.

The GTO took off with the intention of racing to the lane merge. I'm sure he saw me racing to get in front of the civic I was messing with. I'll never not be ready like that again.

And what tires are you running? I'd think that bp would be difficult to hook up with the amount of lowend it makes. Hell, i couldn't even hook up with my protege LX on normal street tires without spinning the crap out of them during a drag launch.
Why do you need to see a magasine for?
The 5.7 has runned a 13.2 stock, i think that is called low 13's.
The 6.0 has runned a 12.9 stock, Thats high 12's.

Not trying to start a war in here.I'll post a link to both.

THere must be something wrong with ur BP if u can't beat a GTO. they run like a mid 14 stock right? I' think the bp festiva should run a really low 14 and a high 13 with slicks
I've seen about ten GTO's run at the track where I work on the weekends, all of them were in the 14's, most were around 14.5-14.7. I even got to watch a brand new one get stuffed into the wall, when the driver wouldn't let off the throttle, he spun through first, second, and shifted into third as he was crossing the center line sideways, he still didn't let off. Gotta know when to hold them, know when to fold them, if ya know what I mean.

Do you have pics of the GTX wheels on the car? Were there any clearance issues? What size tires? I have a GTX that I am stripping and was wondering about putting those wheels on a festy.

i could get one with the rims on it for ya... the tires are i think 185/50/14

they clear fine in the front but in the back i had some problems.. since i have coil overs i wasnt using the stock bottom spring purch so i just cut the side that faces the tire and i still needed a spacer. i will post pics of that too if you want. i like these rims a lot and since im going with xr2 front brakes they will still bolt on , as with aspire they wont...
