Guaddawg....if your sure it's breaking from the inside out....upgrade.
Stupid question here....is the differential over winding...uneven tire pressures or sizes?
    Probalbly just a stupid question.

I don't think so.... I know its from the inside out, as the crack is in an area where there are no mounts or stress from the outside..

I am going to put another one in, and if I crack it... I will take further measures...

I have a 5 speed lined up to pull Saturday AM, then I will rush back and slap it in, as I have a race Sunday... LOL>

and it's Quaddawg.... as in 4 or 4 wheeler, and bow wow...

I am getting a little TOO good at tranny swaps, I had the old tranny on the floor within 30 minutes of it being on jack stands.... ugh...

Now, I have to wait until tomorrow am to get to the JY to snatch the old tranny out of the 88 LX....

I think I am going to stick a festy 5 speed in it for Sundays race, then buy a G and put in it later.

Just to get practice semi-hijacking a thread I have a question to ask. I thought Festi's used the mazda f-series tranny. So I am confused by the idea of upgrading to an f series, as I thought the upgrade was going to a g-series. What's the difference? Are there different sources of f series that have different interior parts, or something like that?

By the way. Good luck with the festi tranny at the meet quaddawg.
