Open air Festiva auto x racer? Sounds like a plan to me. Just make sure you have a good roll bar.

I would try to lower it more, it might help a lot! Narrow wheel base and super stickies = not good. Just make it safer and better in every way! You have a car that has a lot of potential, you haven't reached the end of its capabilities(or yours) so why stop now.
Thanks

I can't find in the SCCA rules where I am allowed to remove the roof in D Mod.. I might have to leave the roof on, but maybe CHOP it a little...
I can definitely lower it more, and hack a LOT of weight off though...
I think I will try to do what I can...Have had 6 Festys... and counting...

Wow man, sorry to hear it. Glad to know you're OK. Do remember that the systems, both harness and safety crew, worked.
I've had a few spills myself, and I can tell you that you need to give it sometime before you take action with the car. Your first impressions are too black and white. Give yourself some time.
I've seen Neons, Honda NSX, RX7's, 240 Z's, Rabitts and Festi's all roll. The right (wrong really I guess) circumstances end up in a roll. So don't be too hard on the Festi specifically, if you are going to race and drive really hard almost anything can be rolled.
If the suspension tie in points are not bent then the rest can be fixed, or swapped to a new shell. Give yourself the chance to think about it.Thricetiva replaced Icetiva as the new ride
