    So about 10 years ago 1 dollar gas they made 50 mpg cars now 3.50 gas and they brag about 30 mpg cars? Seems kinda strange

      My best tank in my Festy is 56.67 mpg. Average is over 49 mpg for 33,000 miles.
      My gas log is on gassavers.org under Festiva. I'm always in the top 20 listed to date. Been in the top ten for brief periods.

FestiXFI has had more Metros around than me, you might shoot him a line to get the other side. In all fairness though, I have always wanted to drive the XFI model metro just to see what they were like. All I have driven were std models.

            The 3 cyl has a reliability problem in which after 100k+ miles the piston housing tends to warp and cause the engine to vibrate harshly decreasing mpg and setting up a blown engine.
